3. Retargeting

The use of this type of internet marketing involves technology such as artificial intelligence (AI) to read big data, in order to find user preferences to be more specific. Thus, marketers can determine marketing targets that are more in line with the products and services being marketed.


4. Search Engine Marketing

This type of internet marketing uses advertising services in search engines. This makes marketer content more discoverable for users.


5. Social Media Marketing

This internet marketing method utilizes social media to market products or services. Social media, which is starting to be used massively, becomes a platform that can be used as a new channel for consumer acquisition.


Marketers can create content to increase interactivity with social media users, or use the advertising services provided by social media.


6. Affiliate Marketing

Internet marketing through this type means utilizing a group of people in an affiliate program. Affiliate programs provide commissions to groups or individuals who promote a product or service, to create sales.


7. Pay per Click

This internet marketing method is almost similar to affiliate programs. Commissions are paid to web page providers each time their ad is clicked on.


The form of the ad may vary depending on the page providing the ad spot.


8. Influencer Marketing

In carrying out this type of internet marketing, marketers collaborate with a number of influential figures on an issue. Collaboration can also be done by cooperating with popular figures to increase consumer awareness of a brand.
